Mission for our students
Our mission at BRMS is to ensure all students learn at higher levels. It will take all of us at BRMS working together to accomplish our mission.
Our mission for our students is to:
Have Grit: Be resilient: When you experience a setback or disappointment bounce right back. Life is still good. Be persistent: Know what your goals are and stick to them. Don't give up when things get hard. Stay focused on your goals and don't get sidetracked. Communication: Communicate with teachers, counselors, administrators and parents.
Be a self-advocate: Take care of your own affairs and be responsible for yourself.
Be on time and attend school: This ensures important instruction is not missed and helps increase how successful students are.
Be proactive: Plan for future situations by taking control and making things happen. Take advantage of BEAR time and check your grades often.
Keep organized: Use your BR planner, homework app, or homework folder. Do homework first and hangout later. Don't procrastinate.
Get Involved: Attend school activities and go with a friend. Sit by others at lunch; we don't want anyone eating lunch alone.
Be a self-starter: Don't wait for others to tell you to get started. Notice what needs to be done and do it. Start on bell ringers and classroom starters as soon as you get to class.
Mrs. Kent, Mr. Petersen, Mrs. Rose, & Mr. Zollinger dressed up in "higher learning clothes" and presented to first hour classes our mission for 2015-16.

Bear River Middle School recently purchased a new scoreboard with the help of the BRMS PTA and some wonderful sponsers. We had an unveiling & lighting of the new scoreboard on Tuesday, October 6. We would like to thank our sponsors who helped make this purchase possible; OrthoUtah, Stotz Equipment, EDGE Orthodontics, Valley View Granite, BRVH Intermountain Healthcare, and BRMS PTA.
Red Ribbon Week
We celebrated Red Ribbon Week the last week of October. The theme this year was "Repect Yourself, Be Drug Free." Below are some pictures of our dress up days.
Meet our Teachers in Training
We currently have two student teachers at BRMS. Mrs. Johnston is teaching special education with Mrs. Fife and Mr. Womack is teaching earth systems with Mr. Thrapp. We have also had Mrs. Ekins working on some administrative internship hours at our school.
Walmart presented BRMS with 20 fifty dollar gift cards for our teachers. We are thankful for the support we receive from our community. Our teachers were happy to receive the gift and are excited to put it to good use.
